Jul 30 - Aug 4 (15 weeks)

15 weeks - apple
Monday - 15 weeks. 11pm 2 mile walk/jog/sprint on treadmill, time 25:15. Weight before bed after run - 148.2
Tuesday - Made up a little upperbody workout today - just workout the muscle group for the whole song - Of course listening to Wonderful Wonderful - did the following during the listed song with the lbs in two dumbbells:
  • The Man - Bicep static holds and curls, 15 lbs and 12 lbs
  • Rut - chest - laying on back holding arms out straight down, so side, and above head, 10 lbs
  • Life to Come - triceps - laying overhead holds and extensions 12 lbs
  • Run for Cover - shoulders - front and side raises and holds 5 lbs
  • Tyson vs. Douglas - back - on an exercise ball on my tummy - did static holds, pathetic flys and pulses on ball with 5 lbs. Might have been pathetic cause my arms are already blasted from the first 4 exercises. woo
Wednesday - nothing. Came back up to Park City last night and I was on toddler duty all day. Too tired and done with the day to do anything at 11:30 pm when they were finally in bed. The gym here has been remodeled though, looks really nice. I'd like to go in and do something before we leave, we'll see if I'm lucky enough to have an hour to myself.
Thursday - 9 pm I asked Corey to take over so I could go take a walk alone and be off kid duty for a few (he had to go to work today for a meeting so I was on duty all day) took a 40 minute walk around Park City, nice to clear my head and breathe
Friday - I'm at home, came home last night, might go back up today to get Wes cause he has a LBB video recording I might take him to. 11:20 am - treadmill walk/jog sprint. Walk during The Man, sprint and walk during Run for Cover, then jog during Tyson vs. Douglas - those three songs gave me one mile, so I did it all again for 2 miles in 24:35. Then stretching.
Saturday - 12 min of planks, and for the center plank it was up on my hands, not on my elbows. I always thought elbows must be the more difficult one cause you are closer to the ground, but up on your hands in a pre-push up position is definitely harder! Will be doing that from now on

Jul 23 - 28 (14 weeks)

14 Weeks - Nectarine
Monday - 14 weeks, baby the size of a nectarine, uterus size of a grapefruit. I got up early at 6!!! First time I've done that in a few weeks (well, except when I had to take Wes to the tour bus) 6:10 went on a 40 min walk. Feeling really good after a great week last week. 7:00 am - Did this June 2018 workout by Holly, I used one 15 pound weight for all the 4x5 stuff, then for the sizzler I used a 30 lb dumbbell for the first 2 min, 20 lbs for the last 2. Good sweat goin' on. Weight this morning after exercise - 145.0, last preg at 14 weeks: weight 150.0 lbs. 8:30 pm - 20 min walk on treadmill while I watched Dude Perfect videos, beach stereotypes, (they are funny)
Tuesday - Morning: 1.5 miles on treadmill in 22:50 min, then ZGYM workout Legs like a dancer #3, I'm loving the ZGYM. Also did about 50 walking laps in the lazy river at cowabunga bay yesterday, did long stretching lunges for some of them, that should count for something
Wednesday - 9 am - 20:47 min walk on treadmill, 1.06 miles, as I watch a Dude Perfect Overtime video, might be my new easy walk thing. Going to do a run later. Now I gotta go clean the kitchen. 10:55 pm - 14 min run on the treadmill, 1:02 miles. Did warm up walk to The Man, then walk with two 1 min sprints during Run for Cover (of course!), then jogged during Tyson vs. Douglas, good song to jog to, good sweat
Thursday - 8:10 am, 1.36 miles walking in 25 minutes, then Holly's July workout C (not a workout I'll be able to do during the next few months) 12 minutes EMOM -Every minute on the minute do 10 reps:
  • 1 min plank hold (she did chair burpees but I didn't want to do that)
  • child pose to push up
  • superman T hold (she did superwoman 10x but I didn't want to move alot on my belly, I won't be able to do superman in a month anyway)
  • Standing RDL, 10 left, then next round 10 right, last round 10 each
Friday - walk on treadmill for 21 minutes, went 1.15 miles, then Zuzka's Legs like a dancer #4
Saturday - 12 minutes of planks

Jul 16 - 21 (13 weeks)

13 weeks - meyer lemon
Monday - 13 weeks done today, baby the size of an egg or a meyer lemon. In 2015 with Owen, my weight was 148.6 lbs. Today I was 144.2. Did a 2 mile treadmill walk/sprint, did four 1 minute sprints, woo! Mile 1 was 15 minutes, then took a bathroom break, mile 2 was 13 minutes. Then did 9 min of this Zgym workout, Summer Shred #12, that dragon hold is killer.
Tuesday - 12 minutes of planks and tried the dragon hold again, just got 10 seconds
Wednesday - Treadmill walk/sprint from 1:45 - 2:20 (only one interruption) did 2 miles in 26:55 with four 1 min sprints. Dragon hold for 14 seconds, almost 15! Stretching, broke a real good sweat
Thursday - 11:45 at night but I got it in - did this 35 minute "Legs Like a Dancer #1" workout in ZGYM, it was great, and a workout I'll be able to do as my tummy gets bigger with the pregnancy, yay! And I'm 4 for 4 this week for working out, go me! I'm gonna get all 6 days this week for the first time since the end of May... May 21-26 was the last time I did a workout all 6 days of the week, I'm glad to be back on my game.
Friday - Slightly sore from the legs like a dancer workout yesterday, 30 minute walk outside at 9pm pushing Owen in the stroller
Saturday - 10 am - first did 15 min of Zuzka's Legs Like a Dancer #2, then treadmill walk/sprint for 21 minutes, went 1.45 miles, did four 1 min sprints, they are killers. Listened to the Killers Wonderful Wonderful album, Run for Cover is still my sprint song. Then finished off the rest of the Legs like a Dancer #2 video, I love the stretching! I'm sweating a lot, ready for a shower, yay

Jul 9 - 14 (12 weeks)

12 weeks - Passion fruit
Monday -  12 weeks today. Did a morning flow for my morning routine, yay.
Tuesday - nothing. I need to start getting in movement in the morning or it doesn't happen, but this morning we were prepping for Natalie's birthday.
Wednesday - nothing. Didn't get it done in the morning and thus didn't happen - this morning I had to take Wes down to meet the bus in American Fork for his jazz band tour.
Thursday - Started to take iron - I remembered I get anemic when I'm pregnant, that might account for the super low energy I've had this week. Goal today: take a 20 min walk. I did it from 9:39 - 10:09 pm tonight as I took Daniel on a walk.
Friday - I feel better already, I'm hoping iron was the trick. Exercised today at 8 am! Did the Zgym Stretch & Tone Cardio #12, felt great. Then a little resistance - 60 reps of each of the following:
  • laying chest press with 2/15 lb dumbbells
  • laying tricep extensions 2/12 lb
  • shoulder side raises 2/8 lbs
  • hammer curls 2/15 lbs
  • back rows 2/15 lbs

Jul 2 - 7 (11 weeks)

11 weeks - brussel sprout
Monday - 11 weeks done. At 11 weeks when I was preg with Owen I wasn't doing much, I didn't do much last week but want to do more this week, going to keep it simple for myself with just walking, planks, and maybe some BFL resistance.... It's 1:30 pm, I haven't done anything yet except I did do one pull up, yay. I'll do something and check back later.... (later...) at 11:55 I was laying down with Owen to help him fall asleep, and I did 12 minutes of planks while I waited, he was asleep when I was done, yay, win, I did some exercise today!
Tuesday - nothing, doh! I had plans to, I joined zgym tonight. Tomorrow I'll do double to make up.
Wednesday - Happy 4th of July. Did a 3k Fun run this morning with my little girls, plus walked to and back from the church, so we'll count that as 2 miles. Then when we got home I did some upper body resistance mostly BFL style (Body for Life) of increasing weight as decreasing reps - 12 reps, then 10, 8, 6, 12, and switch exercise for same muscle group for 12 more:
  • back - I started with 1 pull up, yay, I can still barely do one... to continue at end
  • biceps - weight was with two dumbbells of 8, 10, 12, 15, 4 reps w/20lbs, 12 w/15, then hammer curls 12 reps with 2/15
  • lying tricep extensions 8, 10, 12, 15, 12, then 12 reps overhead with 1/30
  • push ups on toes, most on toes, last 24 on knees
  • shoulders - seated press 10, 12, 15, 20, 15, then 12 reps of upward rows with 2/15
  • back - superman t up pules - 60 reps with 2.5 lbs
Thursday - Look at me go - it's 10:37 AM and I just finished my workout! Yeah! I did 2 miles on the treadmill today - took me 25:56, I beat my time from last Saturday by 25 seconds, go me. I did four 1 minute sprints during that, now I'm going to go take a bath for the first time in 3 days, I need it, but I wanted to workout first, so yay, I did it. Just a light overall soreness in my upper body from yesterdays workout, so that's perfect - not like that 7 day struggle walking after the Melissa Ioja thing on Friday three weeks ago, that's just crazy. No more 30 min resistance workouts for me unless I'm training. True, I did feel slightly empowered after I finished it, but what's the point of that if I'm feeling like an old hobbling lady for the next 7 days. Nope
Friday - I was doing so good this week, but didn't workout today. We spent the day cleaning before i let the kids pack up for Scofield, and then headed out for a weekend of fun with neighbors.
Saturday - no workout, but I did get a major burning in my left leg while I was wake surfing. Pretty fun, I got up no prob three times, still figuring out how to surf though. It was fun, we had a good weekend with friends.
