Feb 27 - Mar 4

Monday - climbing around 10am (Abi and Sophi stayed home sick today so I let them watch the little kids) Did 14 climbs. Was struggling. Maybe cause kids have been sick and I haven't been getting a good night's sleep.

Tuesday - Went climbing today with Wes after picking up L and taking her to the bus. There were a lot of new climbs on the south boulder - I did a lot of those new V1s and V2s, but I was sad to see that my nemesis the hot pink V1 was still there. I decided to give it a go, with Wes telling me I could do it, and on my first attempt today, I FINALLY DID IT!!! 
Wednesday - morning walk/jog, did 50 walking lunges, cried as I listened to "Even If". 

Thursday -  2.78 mile walk to Granite Park. Hard snow paths were hard to walk on. Been having a rough week, feeling like I'm in a storm and being beat up by worry about the future and doubt about the present.

Friday - Good talk with Corey this am, finally out of my cloudy mind. Feeling much much better. went to Zupas on 33rd and then climbing at Momentum for date night. 4 attempts (didn't send the hot pink V1 from above, but almost did) and 12 sends. 

Saturday - climbing with Lily, Joseph joined us, did a 5.10b with only a little cheating, but it was hard. then some bouldering. Just stayed for one hour. Didn't log anything.

Feb 19 - 25

Sunday - Happy Anniversary to us!

Monday - Skiing at Alta, it was so fun! I think that's the best I've ever skied. Most of the time when I'm going fast, I'm just praying that I don't wipe out. But today I was going fast and I wasn't scared! :) Yay. then at 8pm Wes and I went climbing, did V1s and V2s and some V3s, the purple jug one and attempted a few others but didn't send any other V3s

Tuesday - 2.3 mile walk this morning, Worked my shoulders as I chipped away all the ice from the driveway. Did 3 chin ups from dead hang, my finger tips have cuts in the corners and it hurts to type! Watched two videos about how to climb V3s. New climbing vocab - smear and pivot footing, and this one with 8 tips for beginners was good too. I recently decided to climb just 3 times a week, so good job me. I'm shooting for Mon & Wed and then either Fri or Sat. I'm going to go stretch some more. 

Wednesday - Huge storm last night, ton of snow. Shoveling and then WALS and I went skiing at Snowbird, parked at 11 and left for home at 4:40. Good day! I fasted all day (allows for more time on the slopes) 138.2 when I got home

Thursday - Shoveling. Climbing with Corey, just the usual V1s and V2s and the purple V3. I tried the green V3 but couldn't get it. Then we went to the Rec Center and I was in the sauna for 20 min while he swam, then 10 more with him. weight 137.4 when we got home, tied my low from last week. 

Friday - a few pull ups in the closet

Saturday - closet pull ups, did 4 in a row. Wanted to go climbing but Wes took the van. Hopefully can go on Monday.

Feb 13 - 18

Monday - 2.38 mile walk this morning. 1 min warm shower, followed by 3 min cold! Watched Episode 2 of Limitless on Disney+ yesterday, good stuff. I probably won't always remember to document it, but I take a cold shower everyday. Also did (2 chin ups and 30 second hang) x2. PM: at violin, Joseph called to let me know he was up in Millcreek, so right after violin, we dropped SNPK off at Corey's parents and I went and climbed with Joseph and Rhyan. AND I did the Hot Pink V2 that I wasn't able to do on Saturday, AND I also did another V3! A purple one in the OG sector, and I was able to do it twice, yay!!! I'm so proud of myself. Reached a new low tonight for an evening weight - 139.6, going to reach a new low in the morning! Ate breakfast today (from 9:30-10:30) and then skipped lunch and dinner. Feel great. Bought the Core Play yesterday. 

Tuesday - Climbing this morning, went with Corey, he was on the treadmill, I climbed. I didn't give my palms a chance to toughen up after yesterday so they were pretty tender. I did the purple V3 again, it's fun, and yellow V2, almost did the two black V2s, I cheated on the black V2 on the north boulder, but I counted it cause it was decent for my first time, I have attempted like 5. It's fun getting better and being stronger! New low after climbing - 137.4, oh yeah. I haven't been here since 2017/18 after Daniel was born and before Peter.

Wednesday - morning walk, 2.3 miles, pull ups

Thursday - pull ups, stretching. 

Friday - Stretching this morning for 30 min, then skiing at Snowbasin with Corey (and Abi and Natalie), it was fun

Saturday - Climbing with Corey, I like the purple V3 with jugs. Sent 18 climbs, attempted 2 others. Good stuff. We went until we both got flappers on our palms.

Feb 6 - 11

Monday - AM: 3 min cold shower ✓, 20 min of stretching (arms and back, little legs) Ate really great today, a meal at 9, and again at 2, then fasted. Climbing with WLNODP, I a new hot pink V2 that was really hard but I did it! And before we left I did my first V3! A green one on the south boulder. I can't do three that are by it (the hot pink V1 it, or the lavendar V2 or orange V2) but yay, my first V3! After 4 attempts, sent it on my 5th attempt. New night time weight low 141.8

Tuesday - morning walk Mt Jordan loop, 2.38 miles, 33:07

Wednesday - morning walk 2.38 miles to Sunrise point, then bike ride - fish tail in flurries. 5.58 miles, 10 mph, 33 minutes. Climbing after dinner with the kids, did 5+ boulder climbs (did the purple V2 in the OG sector) and raced Natalie in the walltopia, mostly was holding Katharine who was being a stinker

Thursday - climbed this morning with Corey and Wes (Sophi and Natalie babysat for us, they were late for the bus but I took them to school). Corey did treadmill and a few boulders, Wes and I took turns climbing, I did 5 climbs - South Toprope: Purple 5.9 (set by Caleb), another purple 5.9 (Set by Landon T), a Red 5.10a, North toprope: Blue 5.10a, and ended with Step Roofs: Black 5.10b 

Friday - did a good job not overeating today. A little bit of stretching

Saturday - climbing this morning. I tried a new purple V3 in the OG sector that is very horizontal. The holds are good though, I got pretty close. I think I'll be able to do it next week. I couldn't do the hot pink V2 that I did on Monday though. I tried a few times. I don't know how I did it last time. I was pretty tired from trying though, and before I left I decided to do the green V2 and my arms were so shaky that I fell from up really high! I'm glad to learn that I won't die from falling from that high up.
