Apr 30 - May 5

Monday - raining this morning, so did an indoor workout that I just whipped up. I started at 7:53, finished at 8:58. It took me an hour cause I did it in between interruptions of getting kids off to school and the toddlers waking up. I was going to just do 4 rounds but did an extra just for fun torture, so I did FIVE rounds of the following:
  • 1 minute treadmill walk
  • 1 minute treadmill sprint
  • 10 dumbbell swing and press - 2/20lbs
  • 1 30 sec pull up/letdown
  • 1 min center plank
  • 30 jump lunges
Now it's 9 am and I only have 2 more of my 10 pull ups/letdowns left to do! yay
Tuesday - 35 minute morning walk - 6:23 to 6:59 (I was going to just put 7, but the samsung health app makes me ocd)
Wednesday - morning walk, 44 min from 6:21 - 7:05, jogged a little bit on the home stretch, should I try and train for the fun run? I'm wondering if I should go for the trophy in Joseph's honor, he'll be in Guatemala so I thought it might be fun to win it in his name. Did Holly's periscope workout at 3:00 with slight modification - 5 rounds of:
  - 10 reps - squat and press with 2/15
  - 10 reps - kettle bell swing and pull (I don't have a kettle bell, so I did swings with 1/30 then upward rows with 2/15)
  - 5 reps right, 5 left - One leg RDL, leg back on chair with 2/15
  - 5 reps each side - Wood chop 1/20 lb
  - 1 let down
Then some great stretching and cool down. I think I'm done doing 10 let downs 3x a week, I'm revising/resolving to do 3 resistance workouts during the week (maybe more)
Thursday - 40 min walk
Friday - 40 min walk in the am - over 16000 steps for the day!
Saturday - walking around Thanksgiving Point Ashton Gardens, food for the soul!

Apr 23 - 28

Monday - 35 minute walk this morning, lovely to hear the birds. 10 pull ups throughout the day, doing 2 at a time right after each other for 30 sec each with a hammer hold and the other in wide grip.
Tuesday - 40 minute morning walk/jog. 5 pm did Holly's April 2017 workout:
2 Rounds of:
  - 12 reps LEFT leg back on chair lunge
  - 12 deadlifts
  - 12 reps RIGHT leg back on chair lunge
  - 12 deadlifts
then 3 rounds of:
  - 12 reps lawn mower arm rows RIGHT 1/30 lb
  - 12 reps lawn mower arm row LEFT 1/30lb
  - 12 chest press 2/20
  - 12 Belly blasters
Wednesday - 40 minute morning walk, 10 letdowns during day, also Holly's Oct '17 workout:
4x5 exercise, 5 exercises, 5 reps each side, 4 rounds
  - single leg deadlift right, then left (5 each side) - used 2/20 lbs
  - renegade row - 10 alternate reps for 5 each side, used 20 lb dumbbell
  - kneeling press - 5 right, then 5 left, used 1/15 lb
  - Goblet curtsy lunge - 10 alt reps for 5 each side, used 1/30 lb
  - Low windmill - used 1/30 lb
4 minute finisher - alt between 30 sec romanian deadlift hold, 30 sec downward dog divebomber for total of 4 minutes. Also did the cool down stretch, yay
Thursday - 40 minute walk
Friday - Owen and Daniel woke up at 4:45 this morning (Owen crying for his binky, woke up D, drat) I did rise, but I'm not shining right now, working on my attitude and hoping to get a nap in. Went on a 40 minute walk at 6:30, did 10 letdowns during the day
Saturday - Happy Birthday to me! Busy day, 10:30 pm and I'm going to do the March 2017 workout "Supermom Sets" - Did each set 3x:
A1 - 10 reps Reverse Lunges (curtsy lunge, I was holding 2/20 lbs)
A2 - 12 alt Renegade Rows (20 lbs)
B1 - 7 each leg - Hip hinges (single RDL with arm reach)
B2 - 12 Child pose with push up (did my push ups on toes)
C1 - 15 reps Bridge with band
C2 - 16 alt Bugs (laying toy soldier, 8 each leg)

April 16 - 21

Monday - 33 minute walk this morning to Sunrise point and community park, prob 2+ miles, plus did 200 walking lunges on the way back. Did 4 pull ups again this morning, doing 9 more letdowns throughout the day, feeling great! Tomorrow is Day 1 of a facebook like "Take Back Your Morning" challenge with Holly, go sign up!
Tuesday - I did 12 minutes of planks as I listened to this video 3 times through, the Cupid shuffle is a good one to do planks to!
Wednesday - 1 mile/15 min jog on treadmill, woke up kids, finished with 3 walks around the block. Also did 10 letdowns, able to hold wide grip for 30 seconds for most of them!
Thursday - 30 min walk outside, at 9:30 at night did:
  - 30 bicep curls 2/15 lbs
  - 30 deadlifts 2/30 lbs
  - 30 superman Ts with 2/8lbs
  - 30 kneeling push ups
  - 30 tricep extensions with 2/12 lbs
Friday - 45 min walk, trying to avoid being home so we can see what happens when I'm not there to wake kids up. They were all still asleep when I got home at 7 (the time they should leave for school if they don't want to be late) And of course doing my 10 pulls ups throughout the day
Saturday - woke up 10 minutes too late to make it to the 6:00 temple session, so I stretched and then went on a walk. Good active day

Apr 9 - 14

Monday - 50 minute walk this morning = 10 min jogging, 30 min walking, 10 minutes bending over to pick up worms to try and save their lives - It rained last night. I don't care about worms that much, but do feel back when I see them wriggling and drying up about to die. I probably saved a good 2 dozen.
Tuesday -30 minute walk outside from 6:35 - 7:05, pretty morning
Wednesday - 10 let downs during the day, morning walk outside, 6 laps around the block Today I kept my phone with me most of the time, I downloaded the Samsung Health app on Tuesday, today it says I took 11270 steps.
Thursday - 6 laps around the block which is about 2 miles, jogged the last 2 laps, 24 minutes total.
Friday - 20 min walk with Abi near the grocery store. I didn't do my letdowns today cause I'm still sore from working it so hard on Wednesday.
Saturday - Went to temple this morning, then it was go go go all day, I didn't even stretch which is lame. Will do better.

Apr 2 - 7

Monday - 40 min walk/jog outside, probably 2 miles, plus 10 let downs during the day. Kinda did 3 pull ups for my first one when I started, I didn't go all the way down each time, which is why I say "kinda"
Tuesday - last day of spring break for my teens. I'm looking forward to them being back on a schedule. I snoozed in this morning, and it set the mood and direction of my day, aka I didn't workout at all, not even a 5 min flow, lame.
Wednesday - 30 min walk outside this morning, 10 let downs throughout the day, two center planks on hands (aka tall center planks) first for 1:35, second for 1:40, My mood is weak, energy is low, back to trying intermittent fasting today - ate 10 a.m - noon. Weight is back up to 140 from this past week of eating veggies and cookies and cashew nice cream.
Thursday - 40 min walk alone, listening twice to Pres Nelson's "Self Mastery" talk - good stuff! That was from 6:30 - 7:10, then out again at 7:30 with a friend for 40 min again. According to Life 360, I exercised from 6:41 -8:16 and I went 5 miles! I think it was more like 4, but I'll take it. I don't have a fitbit or anything, time to get an app. Nicole and her kids came to visit us today!
Friday - 10 let downs, mostly with wide grip. Was going to go on a walk with Nicole this morning but it was raining :(
Saturday - went to the Draper temple this morning with Nicole. Made goals, going to eat Marilu style and with her timing between meals. Today I did a good job. Active rest. 10 pm right now, should I go do planks?
