Oct 20 - 25

Monday - Girls are home for their last day of fall break, so Corey and I were able to go do toprope during the day. 10:44 am at Ft Union, did 8:

  • 1- NE yellow 10c new, I cheated 2x
  • 2- black 11b lots of cheats, hard and scary
  • 3- pink 10d I like it, one rest no cheats
  • 4- blue 10cd or 11a, I flashed it so prob a c
  • 5- pink 5.11b a few cheats, 3 rests, might be possible
  • 6- black 5.10d between sausages 3 cheats 1 rest
  • 7- red 5.11b shark fin not possible cheated with purple 5.8
  • 8- SE orange 10d flashed tricky but i got it!
1:36 pm hike up the quarry trail, 1st bridge to almost 3rd, explored a few spots, fun. 3.21 miles 1 hour 9 min, 582 elevation.



Tuesday - 2:48 pm bike ride, LCC Trail, got at PR of getting to the top in 1:00:29! Still shooting for under an hour from home. 11.24 miles in 1 hour 25 min

6:20 pm Flows for 30 min plus 70 second hang
  • Wonderful Wonderful flow 2x 
  • Sky Full of Stars - Kossak
  • Rut - nose to knees 
  • Without You - Supta Virasana
  • Vivir Sin Aire - back bend on yoga ball, wheel
Wednesday - 6am bouldering at Millcreek, 18 total: 11 sent plus kids area (I'll count that as 2), 5 attempts
  • South Boulder 0123
  • Kids area L>R
  • 012 3 attempt red
  • North Boulder - 012 3 attempt purple
  • 2 purple 
  • 3 blue attempt
  • OG 01 2 lavender attempt
  • OG Purple v3 attempt
4:45 pm 90 second hang, then these "Ancient Chinese movements" for 10 min, flows 1, 2, &3 before I got interrupted, 25 min total

Thursday - Home > Ruins > Techy > Home with Corey, we were pushing hard (after another neg preg test, 7 weeks tomorrow) I was kinda dying at a 8/9 intensity for most of the ride. Corey felt he was at a 7. (Time for a carbon fiber bike). 11.20 miles, got to the ruins in 56:29!! Felt good to take a quick rest after we got there. 


Home at 1:19, under an hour 20! Woo go us!

11pm stretching for 30 minutes

Friday - 10:30 am stretching, 52 minutes uninterrupted!
  • Wonderful wonderful 2x
  • Sky Full of Stars - Kossak & standing forward fold
  • Rut - nose to knees & pancake
  • Without You - Supta Virasana
  • Vivir Sin Aire - back bend on yoga ball, wheel
  • Between me and you - tight chest stretch via back bend on ball overhead with one 10 lb weight
  • Boy - 70 sec Handstand then hip twist jumps
  • Praise you - broomsticks overhead stretches
  • God of the impossible - one arm alt floor chest stretch
  • Finish it off with one hang - 100 seconds!!
7:30 pm Date night climbing at the Sandy Momentum - they were having a Halloween party, so the lights were off and they gave us headlamps, it was fun!


Saturday - Late ride in Corner Canyon, 4.38 miles, 38 minutes. I went to the temple at 5:30 for initiatories, then started ride at 6:23 pm, only 10 min before sunset. 3rd best time for Clarks though (Clarks Bridge to Bench 15:49) Did Clarks and Rush, too dark so didn't take rush the end. I also forgot my biking pants, so I was just in my padded shorts, I was cautious not to fall, I would have hated to get road rash on my legs. I also forgot my keys! Luckily they were in the car and I didn't manually lock it, AND no one stole the car.
