Oct 27 - Nov 1

Monday - Ride to Ruins, 11.19 miles, 1 hour 32 min. 43 degrees when I left, 36 at ruins, 41 when done. Too cold for my toes, need toe warmers next time if it's that cold. Hands were ok cause I had my yellow gloves. Made it to ruins in 1:06:33

10:30pm some stretching in closet. 32 min, arm moves, overhead with broom stick, supta virasana

Tuesday - 6 am bouldering in Sandy Momentum, 25 total: 6 V0s, 9 V1s, 6 V2 attempts, 4 V2s

2pm Ride with K in trailer to Macey's then exploring around. 6.97 miles, 1 hour 6 min.

Oct 20 - 25

Monday - Girls are home for their last day of fall break, so Corey and I were able to go do toprope during the day. 10:44 am at Ft Union, did 8:

  • 1- NE yellow 10c new, I cheated 2x
  • 2- black 11b lots of cheats, hard and scary
  • 3- pink 10d I like it, one rest no cheats
  • 4- blue 10cd or 11a, I flashed it so prob a c
  • 5- pink 5.11b a few cheats, 3 rests, might be possible
  • 6- black 5.10d between sausages 3 cheats 1 rest
  • 7- red 5.11b shark fin not possible cheated with purple 5.8
  • 8- SE orange 10d flashed tricky but i got it!
1:36 pm hike up the quarry trail, 1st bridge to almost 3rd, explored a few spots, fun. 3.21 miles 1 hour 9 min, 582 elevation.



Tuesday - 2:48 pm bike ride, LCC Trail, got at PR of getting to the top in 1:00:29! Still shooting for under an hour from home. 11.24 miles in 1 hour 25 min

6:20 pm Flows for 30 min plus 70 second hang

4:45 pm 90 second hang, then these "Ancient Chinese movements" for 10 min, flows 1, 2, &3 before I got interrupted, 25 min total

Thursday - Home > Ruins > Techy > Home with Corey, we were pushing hard (after another neg preg test, 7 weeks tomorrow) I was kinda dying at a 8/9 intensity for most of the ride. Corey felt he was at a 7. (Time for a carbon fiber bike). 11.20 miles, got to the ruins in 56:29!! Felt good to take a quick rest after we got there. 


Home at 1:19, under an hour 20! Woo go us!

Friday - 10:30 am stretching, 52 minutes uninterrupted!

  • Between me and you - tight chest stretch via back bend on ball overhead with one 10 lb weight
  • Boy - 70 sec Handstand then hip twist jumps
  • Praise you - broomsticks overhead stretches
  • God of the impossible - one arm alt floor chest stretch
  • Finish it off with one hang - 100 seconds!!
7:30 pm Date night climbing at the Sandy Momentum - they were having a Halloween party, so the lights were off and they gave us headlamps, it was fun!


Saturday - Late ride in Corner Canyon, 4.38 miles, 38 minutes. I went to the temple at 5:30 for initiatories, then started ride at 6:23 pm, only 10 min before sunset. 3rd best time for Clarks though (Clarks Bridge to Bench 15:49) Did Clarks and Rush, too dark so didn't take rush the end. I also forgot my biking pants, so I was just in my padded shorts, I was cautious not to fall, I would have hated to get road rash on my legs. I also forgot my keys! Luckily they were in the car and I didn't manually lock it, AND no one stole the car.

Oct 13 - 18

Monday - 10 am - stretching and stuff, 5 min of L-sit practice, back bend stretches, squats, hang for 80 seconds, etc. 

5:20 pm ride to ruins, didn't save on my strava, but I did screen shot that I was at the top in 1:02:48! 

Pretty ride, I love fall, even when it's subdued.

Tuesday - 6:10 am - short bouldering session.

6:48pm hiked the Y with Mel and Christian and ALSNDPK
1 mile up, 970 elevation gain, 30 minutes. I carried K for more than half of the climb, and almost all the descent. 


Wednesday - 3:18pm ride from Home > Ruins > Techy > Home, 11.32 miles, 1530 elevation gain, 1 hour 33 min.

Bouldering at Millcreek at 8:45 pm with Corey and our nephew Seth.

I wouldn't have been able to do the orange if I did purple first, good choice to do orange then purple. 

Thursday - 6:40 pm walk, 3.24 miles, 7158 steps, 1 hour 3 min

Then 10:13 pm stretching for 47 minutes, did some handstands and squats and then good flows to music. Wonderful wonderful 2x, Sky full of Stars - kossak stretch, Rut - head to knees while sitting, Vivit Sin Aire - back bend, Without You - Wheel. 

Friday - 4:30 pm Corey and I were leaving for a ride, but then he wasn't behind me. I called him from the church, he was still in the driveway, his bike broke. He took it to Salt Cycles, I just did the fish tail. 6.26 miles, 35 minutes. We'll try to go tomorrow in the afternoon - after soccer games but before the BYU Utah game. 

10:20 pm flows - repeat from yesterday, 7 flows in 35 minutes, then a 60 second handstand against the wall

Saturday - Climbing at 8:15am, 1 hour 24 min. Corey said "We should probably get our own shoes..." I asked "Should we get harnesses too? and ropes? belay devices?" Yes, let's get All our town stuff, including: "We should get our own mountain..." ha. Did 8 toprope:

5pm ride in corner canyon, canyon hollow trail and rush trees. 6.24 miles in 48 min 41 seconds. 884 elevation gain. 14 achievements (tied brocks PR to the second! 4:07) PRs for

  2. RUSH .38 in 1:33 (of the efforts I could see I got a 1:36 on Sept 26)

PR for trailhead to ruins with techy 6.72 in 1:03:59 (I don't know my other pr, but I've had 101 efforts, fasted other time that I could see was 1:07:20 on Sept 8, 2025)

10:45 pm stretching before sleep

Friday - 3:50 pm ride to ruins from home, with techy. Got the 2nd bridge rocks. 11.54 miles, 1:34:03. 2nd best time for power plant down (tied PR 1:54 set 9/11/24)
