Apr 22 - 27

Monday - 6:38 am - walk outside around neighborhood with Iveth (so we don't have to come running back if Peter wakes up) 2.24 miles. 2 wonderful flows after, then got ready for the tulip festival! 10937 steps
Tuesday - 6:45 morning walk - went 2.4 in 40 minutes. According to my recent calculations, 6x around the block was only 1.64 miles, but that was auto recorded, so maybe it was off... I shall experiment some more. Today I did 5 times around the block on the outside sidewalk and that made 2 miles exactly. I shall experiment some more.
Wednesday - 9 am - 2 wonderful flows, Owen and Daniel joined me, it was cute
3:30 pm - Clean and Press - 15x 2/15, 10x 2/20, 5 x 2/25
 - Dumbbell Swings - 15x 2/20, 20x 2/25, 25x 2/30 (10x, rest, then 15x)
 - Upward Row - 15x 2/20, 10x 2/25, 5x 2/30
 - Lying on Back - T to down, 20 reps 3x with 2/8lbs
 - On Tummy - T to up, 20 reps 3x with 2/3lbs
Thursday - 20 min walk - 1 mile, 2 wonderful flows
Friday - 6:45 am walk alone around block - 2.2 miles in 36:45 minutes
Saturday - 2 wonderful flows at 12 am (was going to count it as Friday, but since I didn't end up doing anything today I decided to tack in on here!) Diet was great today, I joined Sharny and Julius Fit Healthy Happy Mum this week.

Apr 15 - 20

Monday - 2 wonderful flows, 2 let downs (30 sec, 20 sec)
 - 2pm - Bicep curls - 16x 2/10, 14x 2/12, 12x 2/15, 10x 2/20 (even had good form!), 8x 2/25 (had to arch my back) 16x 2/25, Hammer curls 12x 2/20
 - 4pm jog outside - 2.24 miles in 26 minutes
weight has been at 158-160 for the past few weeks. I ate kale today. Should be on SV Phase 1 Week 8 today
Tuesday - 2 wonderful flows and back stretch on ball (back ball bend) Kale salad in the morning
Wednesday - 2 flows at 6am, then carpool... going to try and lift later...
Thursday - 2 flows,  6:45 walk outside with Iveth - 2.40 miles, 31 minutes, We had to hurry back cause Peter was crying, ugh, hard to run, must keep running. Ball back stretch later at home
Friday - 2 flows, then 7AM walk, 6 laps around the block, I thought it would be 2 miles but shows it was just 1.64. then triceps, increased all reps from last week and also added a set with 12 lbs-
 - Triceps lying extension 40x 2/10, 30x 2/15, 20x 2/12, 12x 2/20, 26x 2/15
 - Triceps seated extension 40x 1/20, 25x 1/25, 23x 1/30, 28x 1/25
Saturday - morning - back ball stretch. One 25 sec letdown.
I was going through my clothes today - My workout clothes are all just ugly t-shirts and pants that I don't care if they get sweaty or ruined, but today I decided to wear some leggings that I bought 2 or 3 years ago and never wear - and look at that, they match my shoes perfectly!
While I'm taking pics of myself in cute workout clothes, I figured I'd do the pouty face selfie - I had Peter on the phone intercom...

he slept for almost 2 hours, such a good baby.
3pm - 2 wonderful flows
 - Incline chest Press 40x 2/15, 30x 2/20, 14x 2/25, 10x 2/30 (woo), 20x 2/25 (Wes had to spot me for those, helped me on the last 3 reps, I blasted my arms) Then 6 rounds of:
 - 7x jump lunge left & right and jump squat
 - 20x Romanian Dead lift with 2/30
 - 5x shoulder front raise, side raise, upward row, shoulder press with 2/15
 - 100x calf raise pulses
 - 20 Goblet squats 1/30
Did a 1 min center plank as a buy in and cash out - so 1st and 6th rounds were 5 min, other rounds averaged 3:30

Apr 8 - 14

Monday - 2 wonderful flows, two letdowns, 70 sec center plank, Bicep curls -
 20x - 2/10, 12x 2/15, 10x 2/20, 8x 2/25, 12x 2/25, hammer curls 12x 2/25
Then jog outside at 7am with Iveth, 38 minutes, 2.7 miles. Weight 159. Should be on SV Phase 1 Week 7 today
Tuesday - 2 Wonderful flows. Morning walk/jog with Iveth to sleepy hollow at 6:45 am - I left Peter home with Abi, Corey texted after 30 min and said he was crying, so we tried to hurry back home but we were tired! 4.19 miles in 59:29. Also 2 letdowns. PM back stretch on swiss ball
Wednesday - Corey went to the gym this morning! Me: 2 wonderful stretches, back bend on ball.
10 AM - incline chest press - 30x 2/15, 20x 2/20, 10x 2/25, 10x 2/30, 20x 2/25
Flat chest press - 30x 2/20, 20x 2/25, 20x 2/30, 30x 2/25
Shoulder Upward row - 12x 2/10, 12x 2/15, 12x 2/20, 12x 2/25 (used momentum=bad form?)
Thursday - 2 Wonderful flows, back bend with ball, 2 let downs, 30 sec and 20 sec
Friday - 2 Wonderful flows, back bend with ball, 2 let downs, 30 sec and 20 sec
 - Triceps lying extension 30x 2/10, 20x 2/15, 10x 2/20, 20x 2/15
 - Triceps seated extension 30x 1/20, 20x 1/25, 20x 1/30, 24x 1/25
Saturday - triceps are slightly sore from yesterday, good job me. Today 2 Wonderful flows at 4pm, then I did the Melissa Ioja thing, hope I can walk tomorrow - I did a few more reps than in the past (7 instead of 5, and did 20 goblet squats instead of 15)- 6 rounds
  • 7x jump lunge left, jump lunge right, jump squat = 1
  • 20x Romanian Deadlift 2/30
  • 100x calf raise pulses 2/30
  • 20x lower than parallel squats 1/30
  • 1 min center plank on hands
Didn't keep time for 1st round, other rounds were 3:40, 3:43, 3:46, 4:15, and 4:40, good sweat
Sunday - Peter is 3 months old!

Apr 1 - 6

Monday - I walked up the canyon around 4:45 pm today, one way, and Corey drove up the canyon and picked me up around 6, that was I had a good incline the whole way. 3.82 miles in 1 hour and 8 minutes. :) It was so nice to get outside. Should be on SV Phase 1 Week 6 today
Tuesday - Went on a morning walk with Iveth, a new friend from Mexico. We left here at 6:04 for a 62 minute walk, went 3.21 miles. Then at noon I did 2 Wonderful flows, then 2 pigeon stretches during the song two times, one more repeat of the song for a child pose and lay back child pose. So 25 minutes of stretching, it felt good. I can tell I need to stretch everyday, I am tight.
  - Lying straight arm above head and over head, repeat 20x with 2/10
  - Lying straight arm at V angle over head and above head, repeat 20x with 2/10
  - Lying straight arm T angle over head and above head, repeat 20x with 2/10
Wednesday - 6:02 am -  3.26 miles in 56 minutes, walked along Wasatch, we walked fast cause it started to sprinkle rain and we didn't want Peter to get too wet
Thursday - Chest
 - Incline Press - 30x 2/15, 20x 2/20, 10x 2/25 (had to rest between last 3 reps), 20x 2/20
 - Flat Press - 30x 2/20, 20x 2/25, 10x 2/30, 22x 2/25
 - Shoulders Upward Row - 12 2/10, 12 2/15, 12 2/20, 12 2/25 (bad form last set)
Friday - 7:12am - 3.93 miles around neighborhood loop plus 3 laps at park, carrying P in the snuggly. 1 hour 12 min. I had a first on our walk - the first time I nursed him as I walked, talk about multi tasking! But he was fussy and I had just started and I didn't want to go home or hear him cry for an hour, so ya do whatcha gotta do to keep the kid happy. My hips hurt though.. and weight as of this morning takes me back to what it was the Friday after Peter was born, so that kinda sucks that it seems like I am making no progress. Need to take measurements maybe, cause close feel slightly looser, but mostly I still feel flabby all over.
Saturday - 2 Wonderful Flows, then 4 rounds of:
  - 20 reps Goblet Squat with 1/30
  - 50 walking lunges - did side & front raises with weights for rounds 2-4, weights 2/3, 2/8, 2/8
