Oct 13 - 18

Monday - 10 am - stretching and stuff, 5 min of L-sit practice, back bend stretches, squats, hang for 80 seconds, etc. 

5:20 pm ride to ruins, didn't save on my strava, but I did screen shot that I was at the top in 1:02:48! 

Pretty ride, I love fall, even when it's subdued.

Tuesday - 6:10 am - short bouldering session.

  • Kids area R>L, L>R right away

  • Center East Green V1
  • East yellow V1
  • Purple V2 couldn’t get that last time, got it, then headed home cause Abi missed her carpool ride
6:48pm hiked the Y with Mel and Christian and ALSNDPK
1 mile up, 970 elevation gain, 30 minutes. I carried K for more than half of the climb, and almost all the descent. 


Wednesday - 3:18pm ride from Home > Ruins > Techy > Home, 11.32 miles, 1530 elevation gain, 1 hour 33 min.

Bouldering at Millcreek at 8:45 pm with Corey and our nephew Seth.

1 hour 13 min. 6 Top rope & 9 boulders:

I wouldn't have been able to do the orange if I did purple first, good choice to do orange then purple. 

Thursday - 6:40 pm walk, 3.24 miles, 7158 steps, 1 hour 3 min

Then 10:13 pm stretching for 47 minutes, did some handstands and squats and then good flows to music. Wonderful wonderful 2x, Sky full of Stars - kossak stretch, Rut - head to knees while sitting, Vivit Sin Aire - back bend, Without You - Wheel. 

Friday - 4:30 pm Corey and I were leaving for a ride, but then he wasn't behind me. I called him from the church, he was still in the driveway, his bike broke. He took it to Salt Cycles, I just did the fish tail. 6.26 miles, 35 minutes. We'll try to go tomorrow in the afternoon - after soccer games but before the BYU Utah game. 

10:20 pm flows - repeat from yesterday, 7 flows in 35 minutes, then a 60 second handstand against the wall

Saturday - Climbing at 8:15am, 1 hour 24 min. Corey said "We should probably get our own shoes..." I asked "Should we get harnesses too? and ropes? belay devices?" Yes, let's get All our town stuff, including: "We should get our own mountain..." ha. Did 8 toprope:
  • NE purple 5.10b
  • East Red 5.10 d 
  • East Yellow 5.9 right away
  • SW pink 5.10 a two cheats
  • West Black 5.10 c
  • West red 5.10 b
  • South red 5.10 d one rest
  • Pink 5.10 d one rest
