Aug 4 - 9

Monday - Climbing this morning with Corey and Lily. Lily bouldered. She wanted to be sure to go before she started FSY today at BYU, she'll be gone until Saturday. 

Corey and I did 8 top rope:

  • NORTH - Purple 5.10a
  • WEST Red 5.11a/green 5.10b combo
  • WEST Purple 5.10d one cheat
  • WEST Pink 5.10d I liked that one! I was able to to it, it helped that it was not impossible
  • WEST Red 5.10a
  • SE CORNER Red 5.11b (pic below) 1 rest & 1 cheat at the top, had to grab a yellow to survive
  • EAST Purple 5.10a one cheat
  • EAST Blue 5.10c got it

Tuesday - Morning walk, turned hike around Bell Reservoir, turned jog home. 5.31 miles, 1 hour 46 minutes. <-- (that was my 700th Strava activity!) 90+ min of splits stretching, squats, pancake stretch, etc.

Wednesday - Bouldering at Ft Union by myself,  
  • West wall - Purple V0
  • Kids area R>L I GOT IT! Woo
  • LIGHT WALL - Orange V2
  • Lily’s blue V2
  • Kids area L>R got to white/black
  • This HIIT 1x 
  • Kids area L>R  GOT IT
  • HIIT repeat
  • CAVE pink V3 attempt 2x
Evening stretching for 45+ min

Thursday - Ride to ruins with Corey, 11.27, 1 hour 34 min

Friday - Morning walk - 4.36 miles, 1 hour 20 min. Toprope at 8:30pm at Ft Union for date night - did 8:
  • WEST WALL - Orange 5.10b
  • Green 5.10b new
  • Red 5.11b only one rest
  • SOUTH WALL - red 5.10b
  • Blue 5.11a one cheat
  • Purple 5.11a attempt, finished using black 5.10c
  • EAST WALL - pink 5.10d got it
  • WEST WALL - Blue 5.10c

Saturday - 1 hour stretching this am (v-wall and back bend w/pillow), Bouldering at Millcreek with Lily at 1:13 pm for 1 hour 11 min. Didn't keep track of everything on Kaya, but did atleast 21, 11+  attempts, 10 sent, plus two kid area races with Lily, I won both haha
