Monday - Went on an afternoon walk (Abi was home sick) 1 hour 38 minutes, 4.61 miles, I did the last 45 minutes barefoot. I thought it would be fun to walk up the steep sandy hill barefoot, and it was fun! I was "grounding" haha.
Tuesday - climbing with Wes this morning after carpool. We worked hard! Now I have a blister on my left palm. Total today was 21:
- 1 V3 attempt (black on north boulder)
- 6 V2 sends (purple OG, Blue north, Purple OG that Wes can do with just his arms by jumping to hold 4 today was my first time doing it! Purple North, Yellow south, black OG on the northwest side, I was shaky. that one was a first too!)
- 7 V2 attempt (yellow south, purple OG, purple OG, Purple OG, Purple OG weird one on the corner with the big slab), black OG, purple 40 wall, I touched the last hold again, next time I'm going to try it first when my hands are fresh and I'm going to get it!) Didn't realize so many of those are called Purple OG... next time I'll write down what makes each of those problems different/unique
- 4 V1 sends (pink south, black OG, Green OG, Blue north)
- 3 V0 sends (black south, lavender OG, Purple northeast)
Wednesday - morning jog with a little walking, 2.34 miles, 28 minutes. It was my 2nd fastest time on Strava for 1/2, 1 and 2 miles. 1/2 4:17, 1 mile 9:51, 2 miles 25:39. Listened to Caution Wasatch Style a few times, it was good jogging music.
Thursday - Climbing this morning by myself. Did 23 and none of them were V0s:
- 3 V3 attempts, none of them were close at all, lol
- 8 V2 sends (couldn't do the black V2 from last one at all! Maybe I need Wes there).
- 4 V2 attempts
- 7 V1 sends
- 1 V1 attempt - the red one on the north boulder. Try it first next time
Friday - shoveled the driveway
Saturday - climbing at 9pm with Lily, Owen, Daniel and Peter. I did that last red V1! Now I've done all the V1s. I learned today that you can search the climbs on Kaya by level of difficulty. I searched the V1s - there are 12, and I had done all of them but that red V1, so I did it today. Took two tries. There are 22 V2s, and I've done 10. Something to work on this next week!
